Chapter 9.10 – Wrong Side of Heaven

First off, I just wanted to say I made it! There was a point where I didn’t think I’d ever finish this generation of this legacy. I guess I proved myself wrong, huh?

Secondly, I couldn’t think of a name for this chapter so it’s named after a song I’m listening to while I write it.

We start of by Finn getting asked out on a date by one Christa Landgraab.

From her last name I’m pretty sure she’s related to the woman Dagger is currently dating.

There is definitely a spark between them and if Finn isn’t the heir I could definitely see SP putting them together.

They hung out for a little while and let me get a cool picture of them before Christa ran off.

While Finn is out on his date Rowan started (and managed to finish) a sculpture. Neat.

And Harper started working on the new fixer-upper car that I must’ve bought for them at some point.

Rowan: Random fact but do you know out of our whole family tree witches are the only life state not in it?

Rebecca: And this matters to me why?

Rowan: Ok then, maybe this’ll bother you more; I’m a vampire

Rebecca: What? You can’t be serious. I never would’ve known that *sarcasm*

Rowan: So I just told Bex that I’m a vampire

Harper: No way Ro, you weren’t meant to tell anyone

Rebecca: You guys are all so stupid, I stg

Out of all the older kids I think Finn is the one closest to Kairi.

He’s constantly spending time with her and I find that so adorable.

Speaking of Finn he gets a phone call from Christa

He then immediately rolls this wish.

That boy is completely smitten.

Yuki is still around.

She just spends most of her time playing video games or cleaning nowadays.

I’m going to miss Mercury as a pony but it’s time for him to age up.

At least Yuki is there to help him celebrate since no one else bothered to turn up.

He’s a good looking horse, especially for being one of the random shelter generated ones.

Straight after Mercury’s birthday it’s time for the second birthday of the day with Kairi becoming a child.

It seems like she just became a toddler but I kind of speed ran until this point and didn’t take many pictures.

                                                          

I know I said she looked a lot like Arrow as a toddler but now I’m not too sure.

Either way she’s a definite cutie.

The birthdays don’t end there though as Caelin, Arrow and Dusk have their too.

Arrow and Dusk aren’t due to age because of their extended lifespans but since Caelin is I want to keep them the same age.

Um…Rowan why are you standing around the kitchen naked?

Rowan: Isn’t this the newest fashion trend? That’s what Rebecca told me anyway.

Maybe Rebecca is onto something about you all being stupid.

Here are my gorgeous main ladies post birthday. Apart from a new hair cut for Caelin none of them really changed.

Arrow got a MLC, Caelin did not and Dusk got one too.

Meanwhile outside in the front yard Mercury has discovered his toy ball thing I bought when we first got him.

It’s good to see that ageing has done nothing to dull the love they have for each other.

Kairi: Grandma Yuki, can you help me solve this problem?

Yuki: Not your grandma but sure thing

Jeez, Mercury literally dwarfs Harper now.

Not sure how I was expecting otherwise since I’ve seen the horses in game before.

My brain just doesn’t compute sometimes.

Rowan paints an awesome painting that I’ve never seen before in this game.

I’m a sucker for little mermaid things since Ariel is my favourite Disney princess.

AJ spends most of her days trolling/making inappropriate posts on forums so she’s not around much.

Aw, it seems these two are still deeply in love too.

Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen 3 sims so attached to each other before.

I’m more glad now than ever that I didn’t make Arrow chose between Dusk and Caelin.

Kairi: C’mon boy, let’s play

Mischief: I’ll forgive you for calling me a boy as long as you run around with me

Kairi: You’re on

Kairi has her first ‘episode’ so I use her one child action to make her take deep breaths so her traits don’t change.

Rowan: Hey Kai, come dance with me

Kairi: Nah, don’t feel like it

Rowan: Man, she must feel bad if she doesn’t want to dance. Dancing makes everything better.

Rebecca is the next person to begin working on the fixer-upper car.

She then tries a fairy trick on Caelin…only for it to backfire on her

Rebecca: How…how did you manage to do that?

Caelin: You forget I’ve lived with your mom for years. I know all the tricks.

Rebecca: That was so awesome!

Caelin: Damn right it was

Why I took a random picture of Arrow brushing her teeth I’ll never know but it’s here now.

Dusk: Don’t you know Rowan got bit from that thing?

Arrow: C’mon, it’s a harmless empty basket.

Dusk: Just be careful

Arrow: Yes mother *eyeroll*

Arrow: So…you’re gonna be an adult soon. D’you think you’re ready for that?

Rebecca: Does it really matter? It’s not like I can change it.

Arrow: …Fair point

I catch Menace rolling around in the puddles outside. That’s the first time I’ve seen a dog playing in puddles.

Both Dusk and Caelin got themselves promotions at work.

I’m so proud of them. I’m not sure how long until they top their careers but it can’t be far now.

At this point I’m pretty sure that Kairi is trying to become one of the dogs.

Harper got asked out on a date by a townie.

I said yes because why not.

She gets stood up so ends up doing her homework instead.

What is with people standing my babies up?

I’ve got to say I love the scenery in Lunar Lakes so far though.

Out on one of her ghost hunting jobs Arrow has the chance to catch up with Trouble.

A chance, of course, that she was never going to pass up.

Instead of going to school Finn skips and spends the day in the nursery playing with the dollhouse.

Finn: No one can tell me what to do, I’m the ultimate rebel

He says as he plays with a kids dollhouse

Kairi has her second ‘episode’ and this time one of her traits change.

I can already tell this trait is going to be so annoying.

It’s the day of the ‘quints’ YA birthday.

I’ve been dreading this day honestly.

Harper: Mum, what’s it like being an adult?

Arrow: I have no clue, I’m pretty much just making things up as I go along.

AJ: C’mon, it’s my birthday!

At least one of you is excited about being an adult

AJ: Wait…I have to be a what now?

Arrow: Aunt Yuki do you think I’ve done a good job as a mother? Do you think the kids will be ok on their own?

Yuki: Sweetie, you’ve done a wonderful job raising those kids but now it’s time to let them leave the nest.

Arrow: I’m just worried about them

Yuki: That’s only natural, you’re always going to worry about them. That’s what being a mother is.

Arrow: Thanks Aunt Yuki. I…I think I really needed to hear that.

And with that the arrival of the dreaded birthday is finally upon us.

Kairi is also aging up because there was only 1 day until her birthday and I wanted to post the heir poll.

                  

As has become the norm Harper and Rowan were up first.

I honestly didn’t think they could get any more gorgeous but boy was I wrong. They are both stunning.

Harper rolled The Jockey LTW unsurprisingly and Rowan rolled Made the Most of my Time LTW.

                   

AJ and Finn both turned out really well too. I think Finn looks slightly better than AJ but only slightly.

AJ rolled the Monster Maker LTW and Finn rolled the Surrounded by Family LTW.

                                                         

These kids really are stunning this generation. I adore how Rebecca turned out.

Unsurprisingly she rolled the One Sim Band LTW which, knowing her, shouldn’t be hard to complete at all.

                                                   

And finally, the new baby of the family, has her turn.

She is beautiful and I really do love how she turned out. She is a really good mix of both of her parents I think.

I honestly don’t envy you guys on having to pick a new heir out of all these kids.

And with that we have reached the end of this chapter (and the end of this generation). The heir poll should be out shortly and as I said before, I don’t envy you guys having to chose. I certainly couldn’t do it.

Chapter 9.9 – Mission Abort

This is it folks, we’re on the final stretch of this generation. Just this chapter and the next until Arrow’s time as heir is over. I started writing this generation almost a year ago (longer if you count when I actually played through it) and I never thought that I’d still be on it after all this time. A lot has changed in my life since I started writing this generation, quite a few things that I thought had broken me. Honestly if it wasn’t for the sims and my one and only friend I doubt I’d still be sitting here right now. I can’t change what has happened though, as much as I would like to, so I just have to get on with things the best I can, even if that’s agony some days.

Anyway, you aren’t here to hear about all my crap, you’re here for the Holly’s nonsense so here it is.

Caelin and Arrow are extremely love-dovey.

I’m 99% sure at this point that Arrow’s new baby is Caelin’s and not Dusk’s.

Arrow: I haven’t gotten around to telling you kids yet but I’m having another baby

Rebecca: Really? I had no idea *eyeroll*

I’m not completely sure that it’s safe for a dog to be playing with a horse but it’s not my life on the line so you do you.

It seems Rebecca has amassed quite the crowd for her music sessions now.

Rebecca: I’m just naturally that good

A quick picture of Rune’s collection that she’s found through hunting.

I can’t remember if this is all you can find through hunting or not.

OMG, she’s going into labour.

Before captioning these pictures I honestly couldn’t remember this kid. Poor kid.

                                           

She gives birth to a little human baby girl who is named Kairi.

I don’t think I ever mentioned it but the kids this generation were named after WWE wrestlers, past and present.

Harper and Rowan were named after Erick Rowan and Luke Harper because I liked the names.

AJ and Finn were named after AJ Lee and Finn Balor

and Rebecca and Kairi were named after Becky Lynch and Kairi Sane

I probably should’ve mentioned that when the kids were born but you guys know now.

I don’t quite know if this counts as a pass out or not since it was the mermaid dehydration thing and not tiredness.

Oh well, I’m gonna count it anyway -5

Straight after giving birth Arrow had to be sent out to rehydrate Caelin since I didn’t want her dying on me.

Harper is really living up to her equestrian trait.

I’ve only ever played with the horses in this game once before I think so it’s good to see that the equestrian trait really does work.

Rowan: So you’re just acting as a sort of surrogate mother then?

Harper: No shit sherlock

Rowan: Seriously Harper I need serious answers for this report

Harper: Ro can’t you pick something else to write a report on?

Rowan: I could always write about your obsessions with…

Harper: The horse it is

Luckily Harper was around to rehydrate her sister.

Not to be left out Dusk also has to go and pass out -5

I’m not sure why Mercury is having a staring contest with Arrow’s car

Mercury: This is between me and this metal death trap. It knows what it did

Yuki: I found my purpose again!

Hate to break it to you but she’s just about to age up

Yuki:

Ok, so I was completely wrong about Kairi being Caelin’s; she’s 100% Dusk’s. Her eyes are proof enough of that.

I’m not sure what happened to her skin from when she was a baby but this is the skin she aged up with.

Probably just another stupid glitch from my increasingly glitchy game.

Kairi does look a lot like Arrow though.

Harper was the first out of all the kids to find her new baby sister.

Instead of coming home Yuki is found somewhere out in town reading with a couple townies.

Yuki: I’m useless now so I may as well stay out here.

She’s really taking the no babies in the house anymore thing pretty roughly.

Rowan passes out beside one of the dogs pee puddles. Gross -5

Dusk: Welcome to the family little dude

Kairi: Momma?

Dusk: That’s right sweetie

I didn’t want to do this but my Holly save has been giving me nothing but problems so I’ve had not choice but to move the family to a fresh town. I brought the main family along with Kaskara and Dagger. I left the rest of the extended family behind though because there was so many of them. They are moved to Lunar Lakes ’cause I’ve never used that town before. As soon as the family was placed Kaskara and Dagger were moved out. I also moved Trouble out with them too because Mischief is definitely the heir and there are too family sims in the house as there is.

The first thing Rebecca does in the new town is teach Kairi to walk.

What a good sister.

AJ: You just had to go and uproot me from all my friends

You literally didn’t have any friends

AJ: So not the point, you removed me from everything I knew

Suffice to say AJ is not one happy bunny about having to move town.

Harper may have Mercury as her pet but I’m pretty sure Rowan has claimed Mischief as hers.

I’m really not too sure when Rowan took up painting but apparently she has.

Arrow gets around to teaching Kairi to talk which I’m pretty sure is her last skill since she also learned to potty at some point between moves.

Kairi is pretty darn cute I’ve got to admit (although not the cutest kid this generation imo).

Harper: Why am I the one stuck cleaning up dog piss?

I’d get your mum to do it but she still busy with Kairi

Harper: *Grumble* Stupid baby, making me do this gross work

Rebecca: Hey Pops, look up

Zero: What’s up there, I don’t see ‘nuffin

Zero: *Shivers* I am so done with this fairy bullshit

Poor Kairi can’t get to bed because Rune has decided Kairi’s bed is the best place to take a nap.

I didn’t even know that was possible at the time so colour me surprised.

She eventually get to her bed when Rune goes away for food.

Arrow gets some one on one time with Mercury since Harper is away at school.

Harper didn’t feed him before heading off to school so the poor foal was starving.

Arrow: Woah boy, it’s just some lightning, nothing to be frightened about.

How am I just finding out that horses can be spooked by the weather?

Arrow: See there’s nothing to be frightened off

Mercury…

Arrow: Good horsy

After avoiding catastrophe with Mercury Arrow then gets a call from her sister Kaskara.

Arrow: ‘Sup sis, how’s mortality treating you?

Kaskara: Bite me

(Oh yeah, did I mention that I made Kaskara and Dagger human when I moved them towns)

Arrow has her first ghost hunting job since moving towns.

It was uneventful.

Yep, I’m almost positive now that Rowan has chosen Mischief as ‘her’ pet, just like Arrow did with Rune as a teen.

I can never remember what this instrument is called but Rebecca is getting pretty good at it.

(The faces she pulls while playing are also priceless).

Since they weren’t doing anything else Harper and Rowan get some one on one time with their baby sister.

I absolutely adore when my sims chose to spend time with their family. It warms my non-existent heart.

AJ: Mama you can’t just let the watcher move us like this

Caelin: It isn’t up to me, it’s part of being a legacy sim, whether we like it or not.

AJ: It’s so not fair!

Rebecca: Shut up some people are trying to sleep here!

Later that day Caelin nabs the first promotion from the new town.

I’m gonna end off here on an adorable picture of Kairi playing.

This chapter took a hell of a lot longer to write than I expected so I can only assume the next one will take ages too since it’s even longer than this one. I am so not looking forward to that. Oh well, I’m gonna go have dinner now and then come back to start working on the last chapter.

Chapter 9.8 – I’m Not Ready For Them To Evolve

I have no idea why I still do these little intro things since I have literally nothing to say but it’s been in the whole legacy so I’m not gonna stop now. Anyway, hopefully you’ve read the last chapter which was posted earlier today.

we start things off with Harper spending her last night as a child in beside her mum.

Aw, that’s kind of adorable.

I think this picture is only here for comparisons sake.

You can more clearly see Rune’s markings on Mischief when she’s side by side with Menace.

The pop-up for the ‘quints’ birthday finally appears and the first thought that went through my head was I’m not ready for them to evolve. *Facepalm* I think I’ve been playing to much Pokémon.

No matter what I did I couldn’t get all the kids to stand around the table facing outwards so I gave up and this will just have to do.

All the adults are there to help the kiddos celebrate.

I would’ve thrown a proper party but I actually can’t stand throwing parties in the sims.

I also learned from last time and saved as soon as the kids aged up then made them over.

                    

Harper and Rowan went first of course.

They are both gorgeous.

I’ve also just realised that half of their traits are the same. How did I never realise that before?

                   

Finn and AJ went up next.

I don’t quite like them as much as I do Harper and Rowan but I still think they are pretty cool looking.

                                                         

And finally Rebecca.

OMG, how stunning is she?

I still utterly adore this bunch of kids.

During the party Zero pees himself then un-renders in embarrassment. -5

Rebecca is still continuing on her trend of playing random instruments (and being entertaining as hell while doing so).

It seems everyone has picked up their own hobby to keep them occupied.

Oh, and look, Harper did continue with the whole painting thing. I’m so proud of her.

Harper: Smart ass

After getting fed up with playing chess Rowan then goes to play with Trouble for a little while.

She then wanders outside and tries her hand at the snake charming basket that I didn’t even realise they had.

Please be careful, the last thing I want is one of my potential heirs dying of a snake bite. Actually can sims die from being bitten, I can’t remember.

Mischief: *growls* Didn’t you hear what the watcher said; be careful!

Rowan: No worries girl, there isn’t even a snake in here *gets bitten*

Mischief:…

Rowan: Not a word

Finn: Mama AJ was making fun of me ‘cause I still like playing with toys

Caelin: Never let anyone tell you your to old to do the things you love

Finn: Ok Mama

Harper’s mermaid form is glitched out (It might have something to do with her being a hybrid. idk)

Caelin: Hi Rebecca, I just wanted to have a quick chat with you

Rebecca: That’s great Mama C but if you don’t move I’m gonna pass out

Arrow suddenly gets sick.

According to my notes ‘This better not be what I’m thinking it is or I’m gonna be seriously pissed’.

I caught AJ in the middle of setting a booby trap.

I think she’s the first of the kids this generation to do that so far.

AJ: Do what? If my parents didn’t see me then there’s no proof

You keep telling yourself that.

Believe it or not, I didn’t send Arrow to set off the booby trap. She did it autonomously straight after it was done.

Geez, Rebecca’s determined to have a go on all the musical instruments, isn’t she?

Rebecca: Well someone has to keep things interesting around here

Menace has his birthday to elder and literally looks no different.

Just FYI at this point Rune has had 2 Young Again potions and I have no intention of letting her become an elder until Arrow is one.

Also, since it’s Menace’s birthday that means 25 days has passed which means it’s more than past time that Yuki and Zero have their elder birthdays.

They’ve been around in game for so long. They are both literally 104 (plus the 2 weeks at Uni that isn’t counted) and my lifespan is 91 so they’ve definitely reached a well deserved elderhood.

Dusk gets a promotion at work.

God Freaking Damn It Arrow!! I know I had the setting switched on but it was such a low percentage that I didn’t expect it to happen. The worst thing is I don’t even know if Dusk or Caelin are the other parent since she woohooed with both of them.

Finn gets asked out on a date so I said yes because why not?

His date doesn’t turn up so he’s left doing his homework.

Finn: I could’ve been doing this at home on a comfy seat

He then takes out his frustrations by heckling a random passer by for a while before finally heading home.

Arrow: Check out my fangs. Aren’t they impressive

Rowan: You literally have no fangs mum

Arrow: What are you taking about; they’re right there

Rowan: You’re funny mum, real funny

Rowan is super pretty.

How am I just realizing this?

I only discovered this interaction by accident a while ago but it’s so cool.

It’s like the vampiric version of a toast.

Rowan: I think you have a serious addiction Harper

Harper: I don’t know what you’re talking about

Rowan: So that’s not your 6th coffee today then?

Seriously though I’m starting to think Harper has developed a series addiction to coffee.

Every time she’s tired she’ll go get a cup instead of going to bed.

Aw, this reminds me of when Arrow was a teenager with Rune

If Trouble keeps digging up my garden I’m going to seriously consider rehoming him.

Rebecca is still on her mission to play all the instruments in this house.

That guitar was bought specifically for her since it seemed like something she’d use.

I caught Arrow and Caelin post woohoo.

I STG if Caelin ends up pregnant too I’m quitting this save for good.

I’m taking advantage of the fact that Arrow is pregnant and can’t die and having her upgrade the trash compacter.

I must be in-freaking-sane (or super soft when it comes to my sims) but Harper has only rolled one wish since aging up and that is to adopt a horse so now we have Mercury.

Mischief and Menace are quick to check out the new addition.

Mischief is just a tad braver than her dad though.

Caelin gets a promotion and choses the game artist branch since Zero did the engineer branch.

Harper: OMG! OMG! OMG! You actually got me a horse!

It seems someone is happy with her new pet.

Harper: Happy? This is literally the best thing to ever happen to me! Ever!

At least she’s actually looking after it instead of me having to get Arrow to do it.

Mercury: Hey, where’s everyone going?

Mercury: Don’t leave me alone out here…please

Aw, poor baby.

And with that I am going to bring this chapter to a close. This one actually didn’t take as much time to write as I thought it would so …yeah, I guess. Anyway there’s only 2 chapters left of this generation so if everything goes right I should have them up on Tuesday and then the heir poll up shortly after that.

Chapter 9.7 – Ghost Invasion

Is this lockdown driving anyone else insane or is it just me?

Seriously I’ve taken to watching creepy/horror top 10 videos on YouTube even though I know they’ll stop me from sleeping at night ‘cause I’m a massive chicken. Oh well, that’s a problem for future Chazy to deal with.

Dusk: wOw you can back. You must love me, you must really love me

For some reason instead of coming home this time AJ takes a nap on a bench outside the town gym.

Bit random but ok, we’ll roll with it.

Rebecca and Harper are also found inside said gym.

What’s so fascinating about this gym that the majority of the kids have ended up there?

Not to be completely left out while her siblings are out on an adventure Rowan is at home proving that she is indeed a fairy.

Rowan: Was it ever really in question?

I don’t know, my memory isn’t always the most reliable

Rowan: *SMH*

Switching back to the gym kids and they are found exercising with 2 random townies.

You do you I guess

Rebecca: C’mon lads, you can’t get better without effort

AJ: Just because you think you’re the best at this doesn’t mean you can order us about

Rebecca: *Ignores AJ* You can’t get better without pushing yourself

AJ:…

Harper: Just ignore her when she gets like this, it’s so much easier that way

A little while later AJ is brought back home by the curfew police even though Rebecca and Harper who were out with her don’t.

Weirdly enough it is Zero who scolds her when she gets home and none of her actual parents.

Zero: How dare you stay out past curfew? Do you know how worried your parents were?

AJ: I’m surprised you even know who my parents even are

Zero: …

AJ: If you think of a comeback I’ll be in my room

This is the point where I think I took a long ass break to play the newly released Let’s Go Eevee (yes that’s how long ago I played this)

I returned to Rebecca passing out after staying up all night instead of going to bed –5

It wouldn’t be the Holly’s without something going wrong I suppose.

AJ: Mama, I love you but if you don’t move right now there’s gonna be a puddle at your feet

Caelin: This is serious AJ, you’re skipping school

Dusk very well might be the first of the adults in the house to use the skilling equipment in the attic.

Another day another job that Arrow is responsible for as heir

Harper is really getting into the artistic skill stuff.

Hopefully she sticks with painting since she gave up sculpting.

Arrow still takes on ghost hunting jobs every now and then when she’s not busy with other heir things.

Caelin nabs a promotion at work

Ok so here’s the deal, I was bored one day so I spawned spirit invasion on the home lot just to see if I could.

It turns out you can. Neat.

Arrow: What the hell are these things doing here? Don’t they know my home life and professional life are separate?

Arrow: Who gave them permission to come here?

Uh…that would be me

Arrow: It better not happen again, understood

Zero gets caught out by one of the kids pranks.

If I was him I’d be more worried about being stuck in the sink, that can’t be healthy, but to each their own.

Every once in a while either Dusk or Caelin sleep in Arrow’s room with her. It’s so cute.

Arrow is stuck cleaning the house while she has nothing else to do.

She then disappears after a while and is found across town at a random food truck.

Arrow: Give me your greasiest food, good sir

Arrow: This isn’t anything like I asked for. It isn’t even greasy in the slightest

That…really gross

Arrow: It actually tastes a bit like blood

Ok, getting grosser now

A couple is found woohooing in Arrow’s bed.

It turns out to be Caelin and Dusk.

Rebecca is far more entertaining than she has any right to be.

I honestly could just follow her around all day without getting bored (which would sound really creepy if this wasn’t the sims)

Rebecca: I’ll show you I’m more than just a pretty face

Harper: Hey, what’s up?

Rebecca: OMG, there’s a massive spider above your head!

Harper: Ahhhh, where? Get it away from me!

Rebecca: Take that

Harper: *Shivers* You…are…so…dead!

Harper: What the hell Bex?

Rebecca: C’mon, that was funny

Harper: Not to me it wasn’t!

Caelin: Hi Mr Holly

Zero: *To self* OMG, someone is actually talking to me. What do I do?

Caelin: Uh…Mr Holly, are you ok?

Zero: Does not…compute

Caelin: Ah, now I see why Arrow doesn’t talk to you

It was then time for the pups to grow up. That time really did pass by super quickly.

I honestly couldn’t wait to see what these pups looked like when they grew up and they didn’t disappoint.

Trouble is an almost copy of Rune with different coat markings

And Mischief, wow she’s amazing looking.

She looks a lot like Rune too but I think there’s some of Menace in there too.

She also got some of Rune’s markings on top of Menace’s.

They both inherited Menace’s floppy ears and Rune’s height which is kind of cool.

More autonomous woohoo.

I just hope no one ends up pregnant since all woohoo is risky because why not.

Also, as you can see I made over the bed for Caelin and Dusk but I don’t think I ever got around to making over the actual bedroom.

Then something really weird happens to Arrow’s face. WTH?

Her face did eventually go back to normal but that’s some weird ass glitch.

I guess Rebecca decided to help out with the dogs grooming.

I really do love all the kids this generation but why can’t they be as interesting as Rebecca?

AJ: Oh, you broke the bin. My mummy is going to kill you for that

Zero: She wouldn’t…would she? Oh no, what have I done?

Caelin: Enough of that AJ, apologize to your grandfather

AJ: But mama…

Caelin: Now!

AJ: Sorry *under breath* She’s still gonna be mad though

Zero: *To self* Pretend you’re not here and maybe she won’t notice you

Arrow: Nice try

Luckily Dusk is around to take Arrow’s mind of the broken trash compactor.

Finn: Can you turn that down, I’m trying to concentrate here

Rebecca: Sure, no problem *turns music louder*

Chapter 9.6 – 4 Hours of Torture

I know I said I probably wasn’t going to be able to get another chapter out today but I’ve nothing else to do and I can’t sleep and whenever that’s the case I always end up turning back to sims.

I guess I decided back when I took these pictures that it would be a cool idea to start this chapter of with a cute picture of Caelin catching snowflakes on her tongue (side note: I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever caught a sim doing this).

After rushing back inside Caelin manages to get in a quick flirt with Arrow before Arrow had to run of to her first day back at work since the babies were born.

It was a pretty standard couple of jobs for her tbh, nothing she couldn’t handle.

A random deer was spotted outside in the snow though.

There’s something quite ominous about the background of this picture.

Why is it tinted red? I guess we’ll never know.

Ok, let’s move onto something less creepy, shall we?

Back at home Dusk is living the perfect domestic bliss lifestyle.

Dusk: What can I say; I was made for this.

Dusk: Yep, there’s nothing better than this

AJ: Momma, you’re so weird

Dusk: Why thank you sweetheart, I aim to please

After getting bored with the household duties Dusk then ran outside into the snow in her shorts and t-shirt to stargaze.

Isn’t it a bit early for stargazing. Doesn’t there have to be…y’know, stars?

Dusk: Nah, they’re out there, you just have to look closer.

Moving away from Dusk Rebecca and Harper were found in the middle of a nice little chat.

Arrow: Hey baby girl, Mummy missed you so much when she was at work

Harper: Mu…mummy stahp…too ticwy

Since Arrow hasn’t been around all that much Rune has had to get the majority of her human contact from Yuki.

I somehow don’t think either of them minds too much.

I don’t know what’s going on with Caelin and Dusk.

One minute they’re arguing…

…and then the next they’re being romantic.

These two really seem to get on well.

I’m actually sure that Harper has spent more time with Rebecca than she has with her actual twin Rowan.

Why is Caelin dumpster diving outside of her work?

No clue, I’ve pretty much given up trying to work out why these sims do anything anymore.

Damn it! Why couldn’t you have gone home to bed instead of dumpster diving? -5

This car is getting more use now than I think it ever has

Rune: Arrow! Arrow! You came back to me!

Arrow: Aw, did you miss me, girl?

Arrow: *Rubs Rune’s belly* Hmm, what’s this? Are there little paws in the very near future?

Rune: Quite possibly, although it may be that whole turkey I destroyed this morning.

Zero and Yuki’s holiday bonus’.

I forgot to get the screenshot but Dusk and Caelin didn’t get any.

Wow, when I said that there were puppies on the way I didn’t realise that they were due quite so soon.

Rune gave birth to 2 puppies, a girl named Mischief and a boy named Trouble. Mischief is the dark pup and Trouble is the light one.

Almost immediately after the pups are born it’s time for the ‘quints’ to age up. Wish me luck!

                  

Being the oldest Harper and Rowan go first.

I’m really liking how these girls are shaping up.

I may have also caved and gave them the same outfits in different colours. I can’t seem to help myself when it comes to twins.

Rebecca: Enough of the little!

Ok, Rebecca. I really should just say I love all these kids and get it over with instead of trying to compliment each individual kid.

It took me 4 IRL hours and 1 crash to age up and makeover all the kids but it was totally worth it.

Gah, this by far has to be my all time favourite generation of kids.

After spending so long on making over the kids you would’ve though I’d tortured myself enough.

Well apparently not because then I spent an extra 2 hours making over bedrooms for them.

This room belongs to Finn, AJ and Rebecca. I suck at clutter but I like it anyway.

And this room belongs to Harper and Rowan.

If I’m gonna be honest this is my favourite room in the whole house.

Man, I spent so much time aging up and dressing the kids that Arrow ended up passing out -5

Rune, get off that bed!

Rune: I don’t care what you say; this bed is mine now

Rowan: C’mon Bex, you’ve been on that for hours now, I want a turn

Rebecca: Jeez, why do you have to ruin my fun

Rebecca: Who needs that stupid rocking horse anyway when you have a whole drum set to yourself

I wasn’t even sure that these beds worked when I first put them down but oh my gosh doesn’t Trouble look so tiny on it

I absolutely adore when dogs lie like this with their puppies in this game.

It just tugs at my heartstrings.

Harper: Nope, no boys allowed

Arrow: I love you to the moon and back

AJ likes to stay out in the school playground instead of coming home. She is often found there.

Oh well, as long as she’s not losing me points it’s cool with me.

Zero: Hey, you’re…uh…Rebecca, right?

Rebecca: Sorry I can’t talk to you, my mommy told me I shouldn’t talk to strangers

Chapter 9.5 – Survivor Series

Wow I’m back already, surprising right?

There’s literally nothing else to do around here anymore so I may as well get on with it.

Ok, so let’s start of with an introduction to Arrow’s two lovers/girlfriends/whatever.

First off we have Caelin Blaire who has the Blog Artist LTW (which will never get completed) and is in the Video Game Developer Career.

Then we have Dusk Fusion who was an heir from an old undocumented legacy of mine.

Dusk has the Seaside Saviour LTW (which will also never get completed) and she is in the military career.

Oh yeah, I should probably mention that Caelin is a mermaid and Dusk is a fairy.

Aw, Arrow’s a natural at this parent thing which is quite surprising since her own dad sucked

Zero: Hey, I’m standing right here!

Arrow: She isn’t wrong

Arrow: What do you think of my babies Rune?

Rune: I don’t know, that yellow one is weirding me out

Arrow: Aw baby girl. just give him a chance, I’m sure you’ll love him.

Both Rebecca and Finn also get some of Arrow’s undivided attention.

While Arrow is spending time with the kids the other 2 mums are getting busy in the fixer-upper car.

Menace: Hey! Hey! Wanna be friends?

Rune: Let’s get this straight right now, I’m the boss around here!

Menace: K, cool. Wanna play?

Rune: Uh…sure, I guess

It’s good to see these two getting along at least.

Is anyone really surprised that Yuki is helping with the babies?

Honestly I’m pretty sure she’s been the best autonomous parent I’ve ever had in this game.

This on the other hand I’m completely surprised at.

Zero: I don’t…what do I do?

Put the baby down gently and back away slowly

Caelin and Dusk have taken to sleeping in Zero’s old room.

I’ll have to re-do it for them at some point (if I ever remember that is).

The nursery is far too crowded now.

It’s giving my unnecessary anxiety.

Speaking of unnecessary anxiety, the ‘quints’ (yes, that’s what I’m going to refer to them as since they were all born on the same day) age up and god damn, I am never trying to age up that many sims at the one time again. It took literal hours with 1 crash and 2 graphics issues.

Ok, so here’s where I’m going to explain about Harper and Rowan.

As soon as I found out that Arrow was pregnant and I didn’t know which person was the other parent I decided that they were all going to be Harper and Rowan’s parents. To manage that I just took all 3 of the girls into CAS and created 2 kids with all their genetics. It’s something I’ve never done before but I figured it would make the twins unique (I also hadn’t expected Arrow to have any other kids so). So yeah, that the story of Harper and Rowan and why they look slightly different.

I’m pretty sure (if I remember rightly) that these girls are vampires-mermaid-fairy hybrids.

Harper has Caelin’s hair with Arrow and Dusk’s eyes and a mix of all 3 girls skins.

Rowan has Zero’s hair with Arrow and Caelin’s eyes (I think it’s Caelin’s eyes anyway). She also has the same skin as Harper.

From what I can tell Finn looks a lot more like Caelin than Arrow but I’m completely fine with that after Arrow being a clone of Zero.

Finn is a vampire.

Finn has Arrow’s light green eyes and Caelin’s dark blue hair and Zero’s skin (I think)

I can’t quite tell who AJ looks like right now but still she’s a cutie.

She is a mermaid.

AJ has Caelin’s eyes and skin and Arrows pale blonde hair.

And finally, little Rebecca. I don’t know why but I definitely see her as the baby of the family.

She’s super adorable but again I can’t tell who she looks like. Her nose may be her grandpa Gladion’s though.

She’s a fairy.

Rebecca has Dusk’s hair, Arrow’s pale green eyes and I’m not sure who’s skin (possibly Gladion’s?)

I can honestly say I’m so happy with these kids, so far none of them have been clones and they all look so unique from one an other.

With new toddlers in the house you all know what that means; toddler spam!

Is it just me or do these two sleep in different positions?

I always thought that the babies just slept like AJ on this mattress thing. Is it because Harper is a vampire?

Also, can I just say these mattresses are a life saver.

It seems AJ has managed to escape the skilling for now.

Yuki really is proving her worth by helping with all this skilling since the mums are busy with work and other things.

OMG, these kids are going to be the death of me with their cuteness.

Even with all the hustle to get the toddlers fully trained before their birthday Rebecca still manages to escape for some play time.

More skilling for the toddlers, this time from the actual parents.

A long day of skilling deserves a good nights sleep.

Don’t ask me why I decided to take a picture of Dusk cleaning because it isn’t a fail puddle since I would’ve wrote about it in my notes.

Even with all the nonsense of training 5 toddlers at once Arrow still finds time for some alone time with Caelin.

Rowan: Spoiled sport

*Sigh of relief* And with Rowan finally learning to walk all the tots are now fully trained.

According to my notes it wasn’t actually as hard as I thought it would be since the other adults helped out with toddler training autonomously but yeah…I remember it being a complete nightmare (that might just be me remembering it worse than it was though).

Oh look, the dogs are still around and getting on well with each other.

Hopefully puppies soon (yes, I’m insane, I’m well aware of that)

With all the toddler training done Arrow has some free time to max out her logic skill finally +5

Rebecca: Put me down

Zero: *Blank stare*

Rebecca: Put me down now or I’m gonna slap the taste out of your mouth!

Zero: *Continues to stare blankly*

Caelin gets in some alone time with Dusk.

I have no idea how the girls this generations relationship works with the sims 3’s stupid jealousy but it does work so I’ll just roll with it.

Rune has also been busy and along with knowing all the tricks now she has now maxed out the hunting skill.

I definitely think puppies will be in her very near future now.

With her newfound free time Dusk has taken to working out.

That’s great since it’ll help out with her career in the future.

Rebecca:…And then he just stood there staring…

Yuki: When he gets like that it’s best to just ignore him. He’s a lost cause as this point

Rebecca: I wish you were my grandma instead

Yuki: Aw sweet pea

Not to leave her other love out Arrow makes time to spend time with Dusk too.

The more I think about it the more I’m kind of glad that Arrow ‘chose’ both Caelin and Dusk as her partners for this generation.

Harper: Come any closer to me and I’ll turn you into dust

Menace: Why won’t anyone be my friend?

Ok, this is where I’m going to end things. I’m starting to think I’m getting worse with this whole captioning thing but I’m going to power on regardless. I meant to get 2 chapters posted today but it’s 11:15 now so I don’t see that happening. I’ll try and get more out tomorrow to make up for it.

Chapter 9.4 – The Deciding Factor

I only just posted the last chapter so nothing new to report between chapters this time.

What’s with the face Arrow?

Arrow: I want to see Caelin and Dusk but can’t decide which I want to see first.

Well that’ll just have to wait because it’s the twins birthdays.

Man, these two have grown so quickly. I’m almost sad to see them grow up…almost.

            

Kaskara went first and rolled the Swimming in Cash LTW which automatically completed because of the families cash +40

I still can’t quite tell who Kaskara looks like. I think she favours Gladion though.

                                                

Dagger then goes next and rolls the Gold Digger LTW.

I think Dagger is mostly Gladion with Zero’s jawline (I may be wrong though since I can’t really remember).

Either way both twins turned out ‘interesting’ to say the least but at least they weren’t clones like Arrow was.

With the extra points from Kaskara added it is time for the twins to leave the nest.

Kaskara: Bye losers, see you on the flip side

After the twins leave Arrow writes a love letter to both her romantic interests as per her wishes.

See, I’m really not making the whole she can’t make up her mind thing. That’s all Arrow.

I soon got distracted by their awesome looking dog though.

I checked and it’s a male named Menace so whichever girl Arrow choses Menace will be coming with as Rune’s spouse.

One woohoo wish down (while Caelin watches nonetheless).

It didn’t seem to put Caelin off as she was very receptive to Arrow’s advances straight after.

Second woohoo wish is also done.

Arrow being Arrow couldn’t stop herself from getting in some bonding time with Menace before she headed home the next morning.

Rune: I smell another dog. Are you…are you hugging other dogs?

Arrow: Don’t be silly Rune. You’re my main girl, now and always.

OMG, she’s actually pregnant! I know it was set for risky to replace the default woohoo but I didn’t expect it to actually work. I’m not even going to check who the parent is now because this gave me the beginnings of an idea.

The next day Arrow got invited to a costume party by Dusk.

Arrow: C’mon bump, we’ve got a party to get to

Arrow: Hey Dusk, not to sound weird but I’m…uh…pregnant…surprise!

Dusk: Wow, that’s so awesome

Don’t ask me how they ended up here.

The only thing I remember about this party is that I left Arrow completely on autonomous the whole time.

What’s wrong with you?

Dusk: Arrow would rather spend time with Menace than me

Yep, I’m pretty sure the whole sims world has gone insane at this point.

I do have to admit, they may confuse the hell out of me but, they do make a cute couple.

Ok, colour me more confused than ever.

A quick check of Dusk and Caelin’s relationship status with MC shows that they are in a relationship with each other.

Arrow: Hmm, that’s kind of hot

Arrow!!!

After watching Caelin and Dusk make out Arrow wishes to woohoo with them both for the second time that night.

Suffice to say Arrow gets her wishes done before the night is over.

She then spent the rest of the night pushing Caelin on the swing in the backyard.

As always Rune demands Arrows attention as soon as she gets home.

Arrow belly looks huge. She looks so close to popping.

Arrow gets presented the key to the city or something from the mayor for her ghost hunting.

Arrow: Can you hurry it up a bit, I’m kind of burning alive here

Arrow is also almost constantly on the phone with either Dusk or Caelin throughout her pregnancy. It’s kind of adorable.

Geez, is it that time already. I really didn’t take many pictures during this pregnancy.

Arrow: How did you ever get through this Aunt Yuki?

Yuki: Why do you think I only had the twins

                    

She gave birth to twin girls. Rowan is in the white and Harper is in the black.

I decided to do something different with these two which is why they look different. It’ll be easier to explain when they are older though (I think).

Yuki?

Yuki: Don’t disturb me until Arrow’s had her baby

Why do you think I’m here

Wow, it goes to show that even now Yuki is still utterly obsessed with babies.

Zero on the other hand still can’t be bothered by anything related to Arrow.

Ok, so here’s where things went a little weird.

Arrow woke up the next morning to find that she was now the mother of 5 kids instead of 2.

This was completely unexpected btw. It must’ve happened when Arrow got pregnant. I must have a setting wrong or something with woohooer.

Gladion is out for a rare visit that morning so Arrow decided to let him know he’s a grandpa.

Arrow: Hey dad, I’m a mum now

Gladion: Wow…uh…congratulations

Arrow: I love you daddy

Gladion: I love you more and I’m so proud of you.

After Gladion disappears she’s sent out to bring her other babies home.

Dusk is the one home so it’s her that Arrow needs to convince to move in with them.

Arrow: C’mon Dusk, my dad really isn’t that bad. He mostly stays out of everyone’s way.

Dusk: I don’t know Arrow, what would Caelin say?

Arrow: It’s better for the kids and my Aunt Yuki would love to help with childcare

Dusk: If you’re sure, count me in.

And so the 3 kids, Dusk, Caelin and Menace move in.

In the course of one day the household has gone from 3 people and a dog to 10 people and 2 dogs.

                                                          

These are Arrow’s 3 other kids. Rebecca (Green) is Arrow and Dusk’s and AJ (Blue) and Finn (Yellow) are Arrow’s with Caelin.

I’m going to end the chapter here because it’s kind of been all over the place. I really had no clue what was happening the whole time I played this session which you could probably tell but I did my best with what I had.

Chapter 9.3 – Woman can’t you make up your mind?!

So…uh…hi everyone. This is usually the part where I tell you guys some excuse why I haven’t been around in 17 months but I just don’t have a reason this time. I mean I haven’t even played this save in over 2 years so who know what actually happened this generation.

This is pretty much just me trying to distract myself from the terrible things that have happened in my life in the past 2 or so months so if it’s complete rubbish then hopefully you’ll understand why.

Don’t ask me why I started this chapter off with Zero and Dagger (I almost wrote Gladion there).

Dagger really is Zero’s golden boy. I think it’s ’cause he looks so much like Gladion.

Literally Zero never voluntarily spends any time with his daughters.

When not spending time with his dad Dagger spends his time working on the fixer-upper car.

At least he’s not getting himself into trouble or losing me points.

At the end of last generation I think I said I’d have Arrow paint Yuki and Zero’s portraits when she took over but I forgot for a while so now she’s doing it. Looking at these portraits actually makes me realize how similar Zero and Yuki actually look.

I really don’t have the patience to make Arrow befriend the ghost she hunts so she can convince them to move on so they all tend to get banished by her nifty banshee blaster.

Arrow still looks as badass as always.

Why is Zero spending time with Delgado?

Don’t ask me because I have no clue and my notes are so unhelpful.

Let’s just pretend it’s something soppy and sentimental because Delgado is getting old.

More trick training for Rune.

I almost love that dog more than my real animals (almost).

Dagger manages to make it onto the honor roll +5

While out with Arrow while she’s working the camera pans back to Delgado.

No, it’s too soon. I’m not ready for him to go yet.

At 63 days Delgado finally passes.

He was 18 days past the end of his lifebar at this point and had outlived his own son so it was a long time coming.

Zero: Why does everything I love get taken away from me?

A question I’ve asked myself continuously over the past 2 months.

Yuki: Shouldn’t you be heading to bed kiddo, it’s getting pretty late

Dagger: Shove it

Yuki: Charming

Suffice to say Dagger refused to do what his aunt told him to, instead grabbing a cup of coffee even though he’s about to pass out. This doesn’t bode well.

Arrow: Shouldn’t you be in bed?

Dagger: Don’t you start that crap too! I can stay up as long as I want…

Dagger:…on seconds thoughts…

God damn it! -5

It seems Yuki has randomly taken up the bass

Yuki: Don’t worry about it, it doesn’t stick

It took longer than expected but Arrow had her first repair as heir.

Since she has literally no handiness skill it’s not surprising that she electrocutes herself.

It’s times like this that I miss Yuki and Zero’s alien DNA.

She doesn’t give up though and after a quick shower she get’s it fixed.

Random Zombie: Brains

Zero: *laughs* Nice costume Pete

RZ: Who…Pete?

Zero: You crack me up

Zero: Hey, where you going Pete?

RZ: This one…no got…brains

Yuki gets asked out on a date by Guzma so I said yes. I don’t think they’ve even spoken to each other since the twins were born so I was curious.

Guzma has gotten so old. I didn’t think he was so old since I’d forgot about Yuki’s vampire lifespan.

Yuki: I don’t want to be here anymore, everyone is so old and creepy

Guzma: C’mon, I know you still want a piece of this ass

Yuki: *shudders* Eww

Yuki: Ew, why is this old man trying to kiss me

Guzma: I’m still sexy, please tell me I’m still sexy!

Yuki: Listen to me very carefully; we are through

Guzma: You can’t be serious

Yuki: Deadly! I should’ve done this years ago.

Guzma didn’t take the break up all that well.

Yuki: Don’t ever contact me ever again!

The whole date with Guzma was autonomous btw, I just watched in fascination.

While her aunt was out kicking ass and taking names Arrow got another promotion which also completed her career and LTW +50

Now that Arrow’s LTW is done it’s officially time for this generations spouse hunting to begin.

Arrow: Yippee, now can I finish my business in peace

She doesn’t seem to enthused right now but she’ll come around, I’m sure.

Only her best clothes for the first day of spouse hunting.

Arrow: I look stupid

Stop being such a grouch

Look, over there! Go talk to one of them!

Arrow: *Sigh* Fine, if it’ll get you off my back

Arrow: Hello, I’m Arrow Holly and my creator is making me come talk to you

*Clears through*

Arrow: I mean…it’s nice to meet you

Blue haired girl: I’m Caelin Blaire, it’s nice to meet you too.

Arrow: Help me creator, I don’t know what to do with these sudden feelings!

While Arrow is out trying to secure the next generation of Holly’s her little sister is getting onto the honor roll +5

Arrow spent a good chunk of her day becoming friends with Caelin.

The other potential, Dusk Fusion, doesn’t look too pleased that she’s not getting any of Arrow’s attention.

Arrow gets to be good friends with Caelin before finally moving onto Dusk.

I figured there’s time for them to just be friends and see who Arrow rolls any wishes for.

Oh well, at least Arrow is attracted to both potential spouse options

Dusk: So you like gonna pick me, right?

Arrow: It’s too soon to say

Dusk: C’mon, I’m hot and you know it

Arrow: You’ve got a point there

Some random guy has to go and die while she’s trying to befriend Dusk which distracted them both for a little while.

Afterwards though they were finally able to become friends and bond over their shared insane trait.

Arrow headed home soon after and then headed to bed.

Arrow: The…perfect…day

Mornin’ sleepyhead

Arrow: I know what I want to do today

Arrow: I want to kiss Caelin.

I guess that can be arranged

After about 20 real life minutes of checking over the whole map I finally found Caelin and sent Arrow over to fulfil her wish.

Arrow was able to nab the kiss with ease.

I left them on autonomous for a little while and while Caelin is stroking Arrow’s face Arrow then has the genius wish to kiss Dusk.

Woman can’t you make up your mind?!

She has a quick game of pool before we head off in search of Dusk to complete this wish.

Arrow and Dusk don’t initially get on, I’m putting it down to their shared insane trait.

Dusk: You’re mother is a Chupacabra!

Arrow: Wrong again carrot top, I don’t have a mother

After their initial blip though Arrow is able to win Dusk around and she gets a kiss from her.

I think I’m gonna end this chapter off here but I’m gonna try and work on another chapter right away so it’ll hopefully be out at some point tonight or tomorrow.

Chapter 9.2 – The Intrepid Explorer

Jeez, has it really been 6 months since I posted the last chapter?

I’ve really dropped the ball this generation haven’t I?

Zero: Ugh, why is this my life?

Trust me it’s not much fun for me to watch either

I’ve only been back for 2 seconds and already I’m fed up with the actual sims so lets take a quick break to follow the adventures of the intrepid explorer Rune as she learns to hunt.

Isn’t she just the cutest little virtual pupper ever

Rune: Come out come out whatever you are, I promise not to hurt you (whispers) much

Rune: Don’t run from me, I just want to be your friend

I think the bats from Arrow’s skill bar have finally flown the coops as they randomly appear around the house, even when she’s not skilling. Super weird glitch.

Uh…Zero, you’re kind of on fire bud

Zero: Leave me be, maybe the sun will finally end this miserable life of mine

Get inside you dumbass!

Luckily Gladion’s ghost is out which eventually tempts Zero back inside.

Zero then gets a promotion at work. I think he has one left to top the career.

Is this the first time in this chapter where we’ve seen our actual heir? Yes

Do I feel bad about that? Not at all.

Her first job of the night happens to be for cousin Soliera.

Soliera: Yeah so we’ve got a really bad…um…ghost problem. You need to fix it

Arrow: Are you sure you’ve got a ghost ‘cause I can’t find anything

Soliera: Keep looking, I’m sure you’ll find something *Under breath* Loser

Despite being punked by her cousins Arrow still manages to get herself a promotion.

You’re kidding me, right? Silvally goes and dies the moment he hits the end of his lifebar yet his dad, Delgado, is very much still alive and has long passed the end of his lifebar.

Even after a long night of ghost busting an heiress’ job is never done.

As I said before Delgado is so old now and I’m really sad that he’s probably gonna die really soon.

At least Yuki is around to give him some much needed attention.

Uh, I think Zero’s broken.

He’s been standing like that for hours and won’t move at all even though he has nothing in his queue.

Oh great, his need to pee fixed him.

At least I know he’s not completely borked then.

Zero then runs off to work and comes home with his last promotion, thus topping his career +10.

Arrow also gets another promotion. Only 3 to go now!

I can’t even tell which of the ghost twins this is.

Either way at least someone is enjoying the pool.

I can’t tell which twin this is either (it might be Dagger) but they give me my first fail in a while -5

After school the next day it is the twins teen birthdays.

                                                  

Dagger is still the best looking out of these two in my opinion.

They are both turning out pretty interestingly though.

Dagger: It’s over now bitches, it’s my turn to run this show

Arrow didn’t make it home for their birthdays because she was busy working but she does make time to give a treat to a random dog. She is most definitely a dog person through and through.

Arrow: Sorry about this bro but I’ve got doggies to pet

Rando ghost: But…but…I’m too young to go

Arrow: Yeah…No, just get in the blaster!

What the hell has happened to Rune?!

Apparently it’s something save related as I got an error 12 shortly afterwards which then crashed the game. Great. How the hell am I getting error 12’s on a brand new computer?

(Side note: Still to this day I’m getting error 12’s no matter what I do to fix it. I miss my old computer)

Because of the crash I had to go through the twins make-overs again so they might look slightly different.

A quick reload of the game and a reset of the town and Rune is fixed.

At least something’s gone right.

Kaskara then decides to make a completely new meal instead of eating one of the many leftover in the fridge.

Kaskara: What can I say, my cooking is just the best

Kaskara: Mmm, definitely the best food I’ve ever tasted

And so modest too

Kaskara: Who needs to be modest when you’re this great

ZERO!!

Zero: It wasn’t me, the dogs finally lost control of his bladder in his old age

Yeah, sure it was -5

Arrow next job is Soliera and Zossie again.

Arrow: This isn’t another prank, right ‘cause I’ve got better things to do

Zossie: It isn’t, I promise

It does gives me a chance to see what Zossie’s son Jamie looks like.

So far he looks identical to Zossie with his father’s hair colour.

Kaskara: Don’t you think it’s kind of sus that our sister is a ghost hunter?

Dagger: What exactly are you trying to insinuate?

Kaskara: Maybe you better start watching your back or she might come after you

Dagger: Nah, she actually likes me. If she’d go after anyone it would be you.

After falling out with his twin Dagger then goes goes and aggravates his aunt Yuki.

Dagger: You’re nothing but a filthy bloodsucker

Yuki: I may be ‘a filthy bloodsucker’ but don’t you forget which filthy bloodsucker raised you.

Dagger: *gulps* I…I’m sorry Aunt Yuki. It won’t happen again

Yuki: You best make sure it doesn’t

She then has to go and meditate to calm herself down.

It looks like Dagger is going to be a complete annoyance to everyone until he moves out. Oh what fun.

His twin on the other hand is too busy admiring herself to cause much trouble.

In some of her spare time Arrow is teaching Rune some tricks (since I always forget that with the dogs).

Ugh, it’s always you, isn’t it Dagger?! -5.

Dagger: You know, I think I want to be the leader of a crime syndicate when I’m older

Yuki: A criminal? Where did I ever go wrong when I was raising you.

Zero: Well this isn’t awkward at all

Arrow: Why is this the family I was born into? They can’t just be normal for 5 minutes *aggravated sigh*

Shortly afterwards she gets another promotion. Only 2 to go now until spouse hunting can begin.

And with that I’m going to end things off here since I’ve got RL things to do.

Chapter 9.1 – Who you gonna call……Ghostbusters!

*Pops head in shyly* I’m so sorry for just disappearing. I can’t believe it’s been 7 months since I last posted on here. I think that might’ve been the longest I’ve ever gone without posting on here but don’t quote me on that because there’s a good chance I’m wrong.

A lot of things have happened since the last time I was here. Firstly, I got a new computer which in theory is better than my old one but keeps crashing every time I try to play sims. I think I might have fixed my issues with it now but I’m not sure since I haven’t actually played since trying the fix. Because of these crashing issues and me just feeling a lack of passion for sims I just kind of stopped playing it and drifted away from it for a long while. I eventually came back to the CC creating side of it very recently and actually learned how to convert hairs for different ages and from Ts4 to Ts3 which is pretty cool. As I said, even though I’ve been creating I still haven’t been playing so I’ll need to try and get back to that so that I can finish this legacy at the very least.

Oh, and lastly, I got a new kitten for my birthday a few weeks ago so he’s been keeping me busy.

He is precious and I love him.

His name is Phoenix and he joins my 2 other cats, Button and Evie.

Anyway, now that all the personal stuff is out of the way I suppose I should get on with the chapter.

(Oh and this whole generation was played at the end of last year so bear with me if I have no clue what’s going on)

I think this is just before these two moved out but what do I know, I barely even remembered they existed in the first place.

After the departure of her dear cousins Arrow wastes no time hunting for her dream job which ironically is hunting ghosts. I probably meant to imply some hidden meaning or something with that choice since one of her dads is a ghost but I can’t really remember now.

Good grief, why are you out in the snow now?

Arrow: Stingy science facility made me come in to get the job.

Sure, either that or I just took random pictures for the sake of it

Arrow: You do tend to pad these things out

Don’t you sass me, I could delete your save and no one would be any the wiser

Arrow: *Sigh* It’s not like you play it anyway

Arrow: *Grumble* Stupid scientist making me stay up all night to fill in his stupid forms

You could just go home and go to bed instead of complaining…

…or y’know you could just fall asleep on a snow covered bench

What would you know Zero actually does know how to take care of his kids.

I said yes to this but I’m not sure why since I’m pretty sure they’re related somehow

He looks a lot like Visenya’s kids so he’s probably from her line.

Luckily their ‘date’ was cut short before they could even say hi because Arrow had her first ghost hunting job.

She does look pretty badass with that banshee blaster, doesn’t she?

I have no clue if this is the same job or a different one but we did run into Rune’s mum, Pax, who seems to possessed by the haunting ghosts.

Pax: I just wanted my bed, now I’ve got to deal with this crap

Arrow gets her first promotion

With Arrow being so busy with work (and then sleeping when she’s not working) Rune has to occupy herself.

Arrow does manage to make some time for Rune though when she isn’t working.

The ghost twins are still around too if anyone was wondering

Another night of ghostbusting earns another promotion for Arrow.

On one of her slow nights (e.g no jobs) Arrow manages to max the sculpting skill +5.

That’s her second maxed skill so far.

Zero might be pulling his weight with the new twins (finally!) but Aunt Yuki is still the preferred caregiver.

It’s Kaskara and Dagger’s birthdays but Zero and Yuki are out at work so it falls down to Arrow to do the honors.

                                           

Their both turning out pretty decently, I think.

I do prefer Dagger out of the two though.

The bike was taking forever for her to get anywhere and I figured it was only fitting she got an Impala since she’s a hunter (if anyone gets that reference I will love you forever)

Why I set Arrow to learning chess I will never know (was it for her job?) but at least it provides some bonding time for her and her little brother.

Kaskara: All bow before your rightful queen

Unless your last name is Targaryen I legitimately don’t care

I almost missed one of the dogs deaths *goes to check notes* apparently it was Red (which is Rune’s grandma, I think)

According to my notes she was 22 over her life bar but I’m pretty sure my aging got messed up with the computer move.

Oh well, I barely remembered who you Red but it’s always sad when a pet dies (even a virtual one).

Arrow has the weekend off work so gets one of the wishes she’s had since she was a teen knocked out (paint a portrait of Rune).

Apparently the chess skilling was for work because it leads to another yet another promotion for Arrow.

At this rate she’ll have topped the career in no time.

Ever since becoming a child Kaskara has taken to scaring people.

It’s hilarious to me that it’s her that’s picked up this pastime when it’s her twin that’s the evil one.

It’s here my game decides to be a complete ass and keeps crashing. It’s only crashing on the Holly save though (that I can tell) so I go to try and save the family and move them town but the game keeps crashing before it can open the save.

Again it’s only with the Holly save that it’s doing this. I tried a few different things to fix it. It opens when I remove every single item from my mods folder so here goes tracking down the actual thing messing up my game.

So it turns out it’s one of my hair packages that’s causing the crash but they are all merged so I’ll have to go through them and find out which one is the culprit.

I removed the package and now my game seems to be working like a dream *fingers crossed*

It worked perfectly for about a month or something but then started crashing due to ‘virtual memory errors’. That’s the problem I’m not sure if I’ve fixed or not yet. I will need to test it at some point.

Dagger: *cries*

Don’t tell me you’re crying for a dog you never even interacted with

Dagger: No, it’s just Grim…he’s so…he’s so Awesome! I want to be just like him when I grow up

Have I mentioned before how much I love these two?

Yuki: Watcher, I don’t know what to do with myself without babies to take care of

How about something interesting?

Yuki: Like this?

Uh…not really

Yuki: This any better?

I guess…at least you’re not losing me points

You on the other hand are just plain annoying. Go do something useful!

Zero: Leave me be. My life is nothing without my love

Uh…kid? There’s something seriously wrong with your tongue

Kaskara: It helps get all the crumbs

With her tongue firmly back in her head Kaskara goes to find her brother.

Dagger: Do you wanna volunteer with me at the pound tomorrow?

Kaskara: You really suck at this evil thing

Dagger: It’s to raise an army of loyal canine servant

Kaskara: Yeah, likely story

Another promotion for Arrow.

If I’ve counted right that means she’s now halfway through her career at this point.

Arrow: Don’t mind me, just searching for lost spirits

Distant Holly cousin in pink: I told you the legacy branch of my family were nuts

Random guy: I see what you mean

Arrow: Oh no, the FBI has gotten to him. Run cousin before they can get to you too.

On that note I think this is where I’m going to end it. Hopefully it isn’t another 7 months before the next chapter.

Soliera doesn’t seem phased by this development though as she’s able to get herself another partner.
